Now for a break with some more relaxing painting for upcoming shows... and I guess I can take some time to share with you a few paintings I did some years back, when I used to paint still life a lot... they are too rendered and tight for my tastes now.
I remember some of these!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you've put these up. Your paintings have gone in such a different direction from these days. However these still lives were already sick to begin with, and i can definitely still see the twisted mind of you. lol i say this with the best of compliments.
ReplyDeleteoh I remember those! I guess it was good practice, they are however impressive, and I could never even start to get my hands to do this -__- by the way I was heavily influenced or inspired by your art when I did the "Lioness" one :P

Yeah, Ki-ke preliminary school work! Ha yea, I guess the content of the paintings does still relate to the way I think ;-)
